Read more »Yesterday, Moscow hosted RG Grand Prix , which was the qualification event for the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires (ARG) in October 2018.
56 Gymnasts from 33 countries battled it for 18 quota places. Only gymnasts born in 2003 were eligible and each country could earn only 1 spot. The placees earned are non-nominative, meaning that the federation can still decide which gymnast to send to the Games.
Among the others had participated our Federation’s gymnasts: Ketevan Arbolishvili and Ana Chkoidze.

Read more »On December 22, at the "Biltmore" hotel, the Georgian National Olympic Committee's annual report was attended by 107 delegates from 133 delegates who had the right to vote. Among the delegates of the session were our Federation’s delegates: Konstantin Lashkhi – President, Rusudan Khoperia – Secretary General, Rusudan Sikharulidze- The First Vice-President and Neli Saladze Vice-President.

Read more »1-2 December 2017 in Split (Croatia) took place the UEG Congress. At the congress were presented all 50 member federations. Among them was our federation, presented by: Konstantin Lashkhi—President, Rusudan Khoperia –Secretary General, Rusudan Sikharulidze—The First Vice-President, Besarion Gamsakhurdia—Vice-President.
The congress heard the report for the last 4 year , and also were elected the new President and authorities.

Read more »Last week, 12-16 October 2017, in Tbilisi for the second time took place an International tournament in Artistic gymnastics ‘’VTB CUP 2017’’. The tournament was held at the New Gymnastics Venue in Didi Digomi district (near to the US Embassy—Digomi Chalebi).
The General Sponsor of the tournament is the “VTB Bank”.
Last year at the tournament participated 4 countries, this year had participated 10 teams from 7 countries.
The tournament had started on 14TH October at 11:00 am, and the Opening ceremony was at 14:30 pm.

Read more »Last week , 6-11 September, city of Lisbon (Portugal) hosted FIG WORLD CUP 2017 and LIAG International tournament in Acrobatic gymnastics. Acrobats from 14 countries were competing and among them were Georgian Age group and Youth team acrobats.

Read more »Gymnasts from 53 countries competed at the World Championships, which for the first time was using the new code of points in Rhythmic Gymnastics. Maximum of two gymnasts per country were allowed to compete in the individual competition, contending for top honors in the All-around as well as with each of the four handheld apparatus (Hoop, Ball, Clubs and Ribbon). Rhythmic Groups of five gymnasts were competing for the Group All-around title, as well as gold in apparatus finals with the 5 Hoops and 3 Balls/2 Ropes.
