26-27 May Tbilisi (Georgia) held the National Championships in Artistic gymnastics. The championships took place at the New Gymnastics venue in Dighmis Chalebi. 60 gymnasts, boys and girls from :Tbilisi, Batumi and Kutaisi had participated at the tournament. The winners and medalist were awarded with medals and diplomas.

From 2 to 7 May in Kutaisi (Georgia) was held the 1ST International tournament in Artistic gymnastics “Kutaisi Cup-Our Future Olympians’’. Fifty gymnasts had competed at the Junior and Pre-junior levels. Participated the following MAG and WAG teams: Team Azerbaijan, Team Czech, Team Georgia , Team Tbilisi (Georgia), Team Kutaisi (Georgia) , Team Batumi (Georgia).
Read more »Last week, city of Botevgrad (Bulgaria) held an International tournament in Acrobatic gymnastics “Acro Cup’’. At the tournament participated teams from : Bulgaria, England, Moldova, Greek and Georgia.

Read more »10-14 April in Szczecin (Poland), took place 8th European Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Individual Championships. At the tournament were up to grabs the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games licenses, and also , the 2ND European Games Minsk 2019 licences. Our WAG gymnast Polina Borzykh got one Nominative license for the Minsk Games 2019.

28-31 March the capital city of Ukraine, Kiev, was hosting an annual FIG International tournament in Artistic gymnastics ‘’Stella Zakharavo Cup’’. 160 participants from 20 countries had participated, and among them were our gymnasts.
The best result from our team was shown by Ioane Jimsheleishvili , who had taken the third lace on the Vault. Another our gymnast Bidzina Sitchinava was in final of Parallel Bars.
Read more »On 14TH March , our Youth National team in Trampoline gymnastics travelled to the USA . They have attended a joining training camp with the USA National team members. They had trained together for more than a week. This was also preparation for the annual ‘’FAIRILAND CLASSIC 2019’’, which is an International tournament in Trampoline gymnastics. The tournament took place 23-25 March 2019.
Our young trampoline gymnasts had done very good job and they had won 5 medals.
Read more »Our Gymnast Natela Bolataeva had participated at the ‘’BALTIC HOOP 2019’’. This International tournament in rhythmic gymnastics took place last week in Riga (Latvia).
Natela took the Bronze medal in exercise with the Clubs, she got 17,850 points.
Read more »Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation on March 14-17 hosted the FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup , AGF Trophy at the National Gymnastics Arena.
This World Cup was important for the gymnasts who wish to participate in the Tokyo-2020 Olympic Games. The World Cup lasted for 4 days: 2 qualification and 2 final days. 120 men and 50 women from 41 countries had participated at the World Cup. Among them were our MAG gymnasts.
