City of Baku (Azerbaijan) is hosting an FIG Gymnastics For All colloquium 2025. Gymnastic for all leaders from all around the world are discusding the future plans of developing and promoting GFA. This year GFA Colloquium received Unesco patronage. Among the 42 participant countries Georgia is presented by Mr.Giorgi Gegetchkori- the Head of Gymnastics For All discipline in Georgia.

On March 21, a meeting of the Georgian National Olympic Committee headuarters was held at under the leadership of the GEO NOC President Leri Khabelov During the meeting were discussed diffrent topics. The GEO NOC 2025 budget was approved. The composition of the GEO NOC commissions was also approved. Members of the United Georgian Gymnastics Federation were approved in 4 commissions.

On February 6-12, Tbilisi will host the International Gymnastics Federation's judges' courses in Acrobatic Gymnastics, and on February 12-18, course in TRA, DMT and TUM. The following experts from the International Gymnastics Federation will come to conduct the courses: Nikolina Khristova, Irina Nikitina, Tetiana Shuiska and Mariela Stoycheva. On the last day of the course, the judges must pass an exam. In case of successful passing of the exam, the jusges will be awarded an international category brevet.

In exactly one week, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will start. There will be a grand opening on July 26. Georgia has obtained 28 licenses. Among these 28 athletes is Luba Golovina, a member of the Georgian national Trampoline Gymnastics team. This will be the 4th Olympic Games for Luba. These days, the city of Coimbra (Portugal) hosts the World Cup and the International tournament in Trampoline Gymnastics. Yesterday, our girls: Elene Kirtadze, Mariam Gabriadze and Kristine Plekhanova started competing in the International tournament. They did a great job and won first place as a team! We congratulate the girls on this success and wish them future victories!

On 1-2 June, the city of Baku (Azerbaijan) held 2nd Baku International "Gymnastics For All" Challenge. 60 teams from 4 countries: Georgia, Azerbaijan, Sierra Leone and Mongolia participated. Last year, at the first tournament, Georgia had 1 team, this year we were represented by 4 teams: Acro Family, Dio Dance Seniors, Dio Dance Juniors, Dio Dance Pre-Juniors. All 4 Georgian teams competed very well and won gold medals. The Rustavi team "Acro Family" received a special trophy -"Best Performance" which was presented to them by the Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Mr. Farid Gayibov and Deputy Minister Mrs. Mariana Vasileva. Also, within the framework of the tournament, a meeting was held between Mr. Ruslan Eyvazov, a member of the GFA Technical Committee of European Gymnastics , and Mr. Giorgi Gegetchkori, the head of the GFA discipline in Georgia, where discussed posibilities of holding the GFA theoretical and practical seminars in Georgia.  We congratulate all participants, their coaches on this success and wish them future victories!

These days, city of Budapest (Hungary), hosts the European Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics. Europe's strongest Senior and Junior gymnasts, as well as Group gymnasts, will reveal the identity of the European Champion and prize-winners. Two days ago junior gymnasts started to compete. The members of the Georgian youth national team of the qualifying stage are: Barbara Kajaia (Ribbon), Elene Tsulukidze (Hoop), Lisa Kordzadze (Clubs) and Nino Datunashvili (Ball). Barbare Kajaia won the right to compete in the finals. She scored 28.600 points and placed 5th in the Qualifiers. Yesterday, took place Junior apparatus finals. Lica Amalia from Romania took the first place in exercise with a Ribbon with 30.950 points, the Bulgarian athlete Dara Malinova took the second place with 29.600 points, and our Barbare Kajaia took the third place. Barbare competed perfectly and won the bronze medal with 29.000 points. Since 2012, this is the first time we won the Junior medal at the European Championships. Competition of Seniors and Groups' will take plade today and tomorrow. Congratulations to Barbare for this great achievement, as well as to her coach - the head coach of the Georgian national team Mrs. Eliso Bedoshvili, to the entire rhythmic gymnastics team and to Georgia!

Last week city of Baku (Azerbaijan) hosted the 1st Eropean Cup in Rhythmic gymnastics. Among the guests were the President of the United Georgian Gymnastics Federation Mr. Konstantin Lashkhi and the President of the Indian Gymnastics Federation Mr.Mital Sudhir. On Monday they both left Baku and arrived to Tbilisi (Georgia). Today, both presidents visited the Gymnastics Arena where they met with the National teams of all gymnastics disciplines of Georgia. They have discussed future plans of developing friendly relationship between two federations. At the end the Presidents have signed a memorandum of understanding on promotion and development of gymnastics.

On May 3-6, Baku will host the first European Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics. It will be a new type and format of the tournament in Europe. Members of our individual and group team teams will compete in this tournament. We wish success to our girls!

On April 26-29 of this year, Tbilisi hosted the 4th International gymnastics tournament in Gymnastics for All, "Tbilisi Gymnaestrada". About 1000 participants from 66 teams of Georgia and Azerbaijan took part in the tournament. The age of the participants ranged from 3 years to 50 years. This tournament was held for the first time in 2021 and 105 athletes took part in it. This year the tournament was held with a ten time increased number of participants. In addition, the geography of participating teams from Georgia has also increased. The teams of Bolnisi and Akhaltsikhe participated in the tournament for the first time.
