The European Cup Series aims to present high-level competitions with new and exciting formats.
On the programme in 2024: ‘Cross battles’ in Rhythmic Gymnastics, knock-out rounds with gymnasts competing directly against another to reach the following stage.
This will be debuted in Baku (AZE), from 29 to 31 March 2024. Participation is open on a world-wide level for all FIG member federations in good standing. Prize money will be paid for this event.

• Qualification for Juniors RGI (1 - 4 gymnasts max. 4 routines per NF with team ranking of Juniors RGI, for NF participating with more than 1 gymnast)

Read more »Last Saturday, December 2nd, city of Tbilisi held the first Gymnastics For All festival. The United Georgian Gymnastics Federation started developing the discipline "Gymnastics for All" in 2019 and 3 international tournaments and two international seminars have already been held in Georgia. In addition, this year, for the first time, a team from Georgia participated in the international tournament held in Baku Azerbaijan). Anyone can participate in the GFA discipline, regardless of age, gender and whether he is a gymnast or an athlete. 52 teams (500 participants) from Tbilisi and different regions of Georgia took part in the December 2 festival. Both gymnastics clubs and dance learning centers participated. The Georgian RG Junior National group and the inclusive Zumba fitness show group, which included a person with the special needs, took part in the opening ceremony.

Read more »Yesterday, in the city of Birmingham (Great Britain), started the WAGC @1st Junior World Championship. The championsip is held in individual and synchronized disciplines. Anano Apakidze and Mariam Ragimovi passed the qualifying stage in their category, synchronized jumping, and reached the final with the fourth place. In the final, Anano and Mariam won silver medals in a tense battle!

A few minutes ago, we received a great news from Birmingham (Great Britain), where the World Championship in Trampoline Gymnastics is held. Our team won the third team place in Trampoline Gymnastics! This is a historical fact! For the first time in the history of independent Georgia, our team reached the finals and won medals!

Read more »City of Varna (Bulgaria) is holding tje European Championship in Acrobatic Gymnastics. Europe's best Acrobats compete with each other for the European championship. Among them are the girls and boys of our national team. Yesterday, from Varna, we received the good news that our Men's pair: Saba Chelishvili and Levan Jakobia took the 2nd place in static training.

Read more »City of Varna, Bulgaria, hosts the World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics. Competition takes place both in individual and synchronized disciplines. Georgia was represented by gymnasts: Luba Golovina, Teona Janjghava, Anano Afakidze and Mariam Ragimov. The finals were held today. The syncronized pair of Anano Afakidze and Mariam Ragimov coped well with their exercises and took the 3rd prize place in the final. We congratulate the girls on this success and wish them the next victories!
Read more »The capital of Croatia, Zagreb has held the EG ,,3rd Educational Long Weekend". The event was devided in two parts: Educational coreography camp and Symposium. Present were the EG Technical Committee President, the members, and experst. There were different interesting topics at the event which included for instance: how to develope GFA in new counties, the overview elements of coreography, body percussion, comparisons of the different experiences of gymnastics and etc. Among the participants was representative from our Federation Mr. Giorgi Gegetchkori who is responsible for developing the Gymnastics For All discipline in Georgia. The next long weekend will take place in 2025.
Read more »As we have already informed you, Tbilisi is hosting the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Trampoline Gymnastics Technical Committee. Yesterday, the committee met with the leadership of the United Georgian Gymnastics Federation at the Gymnastics Arena. Also they have met the Georgian Trampoline Gymnastics family members. During the visite Mr.Lambert the President of the comittee has given an interview to the Georgian television.
Read more »Yesterday, the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Trampoline Gymnastics Technical Committee arrived in Georgia for a 5-day working visit. This is the first occasion when the technical committee comes to Georgia and holds meetings here. During the sessions, important issues will be discussed, which will affect the planning and conduct of various events in Trampoline Gymnastics in the world, as well as the presentation of the draft of the new Code of Points. The committee will meet with the leadership of the United Georgian Gymnastics Federation, trampoline coaches and gymnasts, and will visit gymnastics halls. The composition of the committee is as follows: President: Mr. Christophe Lambert Vice-President: Mrs. Tetiana Shuiska Vice President: Mr. Miguel Moreno Vicente Member: Mrs. Mariela Stoycheva Member: Mr. Dmitri Poliaroush Member: Mr Shinya Muto Member: Xing Liu and representative of gymnasts: Mrs. Rosannagh Mclennan. This is a very important event that will help further development the Trampoline Gymnastics in Georgia.
