Today,  at the New Gymnastics Arena in the New Digomi district, had started  the European Youth Olympic Festival  “Tbilisi 2015’’. Gymnasts  from 40  countries  will be competing  for  the medals.(girls and boys). The delegations include the coaches, international judges and the head of Federations.

           The European Youth Olympic Festival opened in Tbilisi, Georgia, Sunday evening. Close to 4,000 athletes from 50 countries will compete in nine disciplines: volleyball, tennis, swimming, cycling, handball, judo, basketball, athletics and gymnastics.

Lausanne (SUI) / Tashkent FIG Head Office, October 26, 2014: From October 29-30, the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) will hold its 80th Congress and General Assembly in the Uzbek capital of Tashkent. Of 134 FIG affiliated or associate federations to date, 75 have signed up.

united georgian gymnastics federation will be represented by two deleGATES: THE PRESIDENT OF FEDERATION  MR. KONSTANTIN LASHKHI AND VICE-PRESIDENT OF FEDERATION MR. BESARION GAMSAKHURDIA. The ordinary Congress will bring together some 260 delegates from five continents. Outgoing President, Prof. Bruno Grandi (ITA), who has held FIG leadership since 1996, will lead the General Assembly.

As you may know the 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games will be held in Nanjing, China, from August 16 to 28. The Youth Olympic Games are an elite sporting event for young people from all over the world.

In tournament had participated gymnasts from 10 countries. The tournament attended Five-time Olympic Champion and Five-time World Champion in Artistic Gymnastics, President of Women’s Technical committee of FIG, Mrs. Nellie Kim, also, Olympic champions in Artistic gymnastics: Mrs. Antonina Koshel and Mr. Bogdan Makuts.

On March 6-9, 2014 St. in RIGA (LATVIA ) was held an International tournament where Georgian athletes have successfully competed . 

In MOSKOW (RUSSIA) from 28 February- to 3 March took place : ‘’ALINA KABAEVA CHAMPIONS CUP-GRAND PRIX MOSKOW 2014’’ -InternationalSenior Groups Tournament and International Junior Tournament – Individuals & Groups (Qualifications for 2014 Youth Olympic Games).

,,United Georgian Gymnastics Federation” held a summary-session and elections at the ,,Tbilisi Chess Palace ,, on NOVEMBER 17 , 2012. 
During the elections was elected a new President : Mr. Konstantine Lashkhi .

Trampoline gymnast Luba Golovina at the qualifying round took VI place and got in the final.

In the final round 22 year old Luba took VII place.
