We just heard the sad news that at age 95 passed away Mrs. Nina Salukvadze. She was the Honored coach of Georgia, one of the ancestor of rhythmic gymnastics in Georgia, brought up a whole galaxy of great gymnasts, including world champion in the group exercises Lali Dolidze. She had been working at the Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, where she worked with the foundation of separation of rhythmic gymnastics for many years, under her leadership has been prepared many of coaches who are working now, and their students became World , Europe champions and the winners of the World Cups and international competitions. One of the most educated, multi-talented teachers, she has made a great contribution to the education of their pupils and the development of rhythmic gymnastics in Georgia.
