Today is election day at the European Gymnastics Congress in Portugal. A few hours ago, the President of European Gymnastics Mr. Farid Gaibov was elected for the second term. And at this moment, we received the good news for our federation that our candidate for the Rhythmic Gymnastics technical committee, Ms. Eliso Bedoshvili, has been elected as a member of this committee. Congratulations Mrs. Bedoshvili, and good luck in your new work!

The 29th European Gymnastics Congress, to be held in Portugal/Albufeira between December 2-3 2022. These days, Sofia (Bulgaria) is hosting the World AGE GROUP Championship. Gymnasts compete for world championships in different age categories. A few minutes ago we have received the happy news from Sofia that our youngest athlete Nino Koridze became the World Champion!  Nino did well in the first qualification stage, where she came in second place out of 31 participants with 90.740 points, and already in the final she beat everyone and won the gold medal! We congratulate Nino and all of Georgia on this magnificent victory!

As we have already informed you, the Trampoline World Age Group chsmpionsip is taking place in Sofia (Bulgaria) where we have already won a gold medal. A silver medal in synchronized jumping was added to this gold medal a few minutes ago! Anano Apakidze and Mariam Ragimovi competed in synchronized jumping. The girls competed excellently both in the qualifying stage and in the final! In the final, they fell a little short of the championship and won the silver medals! We congratulate Anano and Mariam and all of Georgia on this success!

Dear Members of the Authorities, Dear Presidents of Federations and Unions, We are pleased to inform you that the Webinar for Rhythmic Gymnasts and Coaches which took place respectively on August 31, 2022 and September 02, 2022, are now available on the FIG Education channel as follows:

Head coach of the Georgian National team of Rhythmic Gymnastics Mrs. Eliso Bedoshvili from October 26th to November 3rd November participated at the series of rhythmic gymnastics training sessions, in preparation for the 2022 Rhythmic Gymnastics Canadian Championships. Rhythmic Quebec Gymnastics Club organized the event according to Gymnastics Quebec regulations. Mrs Bedoshvili have participated in reviewing Novice, Junior and Senior individual choreographies prior to domestic and international competitions of Rhythmic Quebec’s gymnasts. This visit was a friendly exchange between two coaches of international standards as Mrs Bedoshvili collaborates regularly with Rhythmic Quebec’s head coach Mrs. Victoria Ataol. We hope in the future this relationship between Georgian and Canadian gymnastics families will continue and develop in more mutual activities.

On 24-25 September, in Tbilisi (Georgia), at the New Gymnastics Venue, have taken place the International tournament in Gymnastics for All ,,Tbilisi Gymnaestrada". It was already the second time that the capital of Georgian held this tournament. This time more teams and participants from Georgia and Azerbaijan have participate at this gymnastics festival. There were 14 teams from Georgia and Azerbaijan with 130 gymnasts in action. The age range was from 4 years to 50 years. This year we have teams from Georgian two regions : Adjara and Kakheti. Here are all participant teams:

TEAM ,,TELAVI,, (TELAVI NELI SALADZE RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS ACADEMY, GEORGIA). 4. TEAM ,, GEO TRAMPOLINE" (GEORGIAN RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS NATIONAL GROUP TEAM, GEORGIA). 5.TEAM ,,FLAME" (AZERBAIJAN). 6. TEAM 

In these moments, good news came from the European Gymnastics Championship! As I already told you, the European Championship in Artistic Gymnastics for seniors and juniors is held in Germany. Junior finals in individual apparatus are taking place today. Our young, talented gymnast Dachi Dolodze competed perfectly on the Pommel Horse and won a bronze medal! We congratulate Dachi and all of Georgia on this great success!

City of Munich (Germany) is holding the European Championships in Artistic Gymnastics. Today, during the judges' meeting was the Honorary Judges' award ceremony. Our Fedeartion's an International category judge Mr. Ilia Giorgadze was awarded with the Honorary Judge diploma. Well done Ilia. We wish you all the best in the future!
