5-10 MAY in city of Kutaisi (Georgia) was held the 2ND International tournament in Artistic Gymnastics ‘’KUTAISI CUP—OUR FUTURE OLYMPIANS’’. 30 participants from 5 countries had participated at the tournament: GEORGIA, ARMENIA, BELARUS (girls’ team of BSDUSHOR and boys’ team of “Kolca Slavi’’). LATVIA (girls team of Riga Gymnastics School), and Poland (girls’ team of MKS GDANSK CLUB, and boys’ team of Poland). Due to the pandemic restrictions all the teams have arrived with the negative PCR test results, and also, they were tested on arrival again. On MAY 7 , in the team competitions the results were as follow: WAG TEAMS: I PLACE TEAM OF GEORGIA (94.031 POINTS) II PLACE TEAM OF BSDUSHOR BELARUS (93.533 POINTS) III PLACE TEAM OF RIGA GYMNASTICS SCHOOL LATVIA (92.899) MAG TEAMS: I PLACE TEAM OF ARMENIA (153.031 POINTS) II PLACE TEAM OF POLAND (142.564 POINTS) III PLACE TEAM OF KOLCA SLAVI BELARUS (103.433). In All-Around and the Apparatus finals the medals were split between the teams: GEORGIA: WAG TEAM OF GEORGIA 8 MEDALS MAG TEAM OF GEORGIA 2 MEDALS ARMENIA: WAG TEAM OF GEORGIA 1 MEDAL MAG TEAM OF GEORGIA 14 MEDALS BELARUS: WAG TEAM OF BSDUSHOR 5 MEDALS MAG TEAM OF KOLCA SLAVI 5 MEDALS LATVIA: WAG TEAM OF RIGA GYMNASTICS SCHOOL 5 MEDALS POLAND: MAG TEAM OF POLAND 5 MEDALS With the organization and managing of the tournament our Federation had received a great help and support from the MP of Georgia from Kutaisi Mr.Zaza Lominadze, also, from the Mayor of city of Kutaisi Mr. Soso Khakhaleishvili, and also, form the President of the Imereti (Kutaisi) Gymnastics Federation Mr. Mamuka Rizhamadze. We would like to thank all the persons, who were involved in the organization of this tournament in such a hard time. And of course our special thank you goes to all the participant teams!
