Today, at the New Gymnastics Arena in the New Digomi district, had started the European Youth Olympic Festival “Tbilisi 2015’’. Gymnasts from 40 countries will be competing for the medals.(girls and boys). The delegations include the coaches, international judges and the head of Federations.
Georgian gymnasts are also taking part at the competitions. WAG gymnasts: Magda Robakidze, Mariia Butckikh, and Polina Borzikh. MAG gymnasts: Ioane Jimsheleishvili, Dmitri Govorov and Saba Abesadze.
The competitions are going under the management of the OC of EYOF ‘’Tbilisi 2015’’, and also, the President of the Federation Mr. Konstantine Lashkhi and the members of the Federation , are actively working at the all stages of the festival.
The gymnastics management team is composed of: Besarion Gamsakhurdia—Sports Manager, Giorgi Gegetchkori—Venue Manager, Rusdan Khoperia—Sports program Manager, Davit Chichua—Sports Coordinator FOP, Rusudan Sikharulidze—WAG head judge, Ilia Giorgadze—MAG head judge, Nino Giorgadze—Administrator, Ira Pashkova—Sports Coordinator of Athletes, IT team—Giorgi Kalatozishvili, Jina Gvajava, Marika Bichnigauri, Zviad Papelishvili, NANIKO GUCHASHVILI--emergency services and Judges—Sopiko Bodaveli, Ketevan Bolkvadze, Giorgi Akhvlediani and Era Khuntsaria.
