The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia hold an annual award ceremony *The Sportsperson of the Year*. Awards were given out in 11 different categories and also, 10 special prizes were awarded.
For the first time in the history the title of the Best Sportsperson of the Year were given to 6 athletes at once: Lukhum Chkhvimini (Judo), Lasha Talakhdze (Weightlifting), Geno Petriashvili (Free Style Wrestling), Lasha Gobadze (Greek-Roman Wrestling), Beka Lomtadze (Free Style Wrestling), Nugzar Tsurtsumia (Greek-Roman Wrestling).
United Georgian Gymnastics Federation were awarded with one title and one special ward.

The legendary Secretary General of the Federation Mrs. Rusudan Khoperia was awarded with a title of
" The Best Judge of Georgia 2019" .
Our two young Trampoline WAGC 2019 chamions
Maia Bochoridze and Ana Lapiashvili were given the special award "Discovery athlete 2019".
Also, in the nomination of the best female athlete was our Trampoline leader gymnast Luba Golovina, but the Best Female Athlete title was given to Eter Liparteliani (Judo).
