Pazhava’s Gold from Holon

Last week Holon had hosted a Grand Prix in Rhythmic Gymnastics. Among the many participant was our gymnast and National team leader Salome Pazhava. As always Salome were participating with all heart and determination.

Salome did very good job, she was 6^TH at the All-Around and also she participated at two Apparatus finals. She was 5^TH in exercise with the HOOP.

The most important is that Salome got a GOLD medal in the exercise with the CLUBS.

Decisions regarding the 2020 events

The Executive Committee of European Gymnastics met online today to discuss the planned 2020 events and came to the following decisions: - FIG will be asked to inform the IOC that due to the current Covid19 situation all over Europe we cannot organise any Olympic qualification at our European Championships this year. The conditions in the current situation are considered not appropriate for such an important decision and we do not want to pressure our federations to travel to an event (only due to it being Olympic qualifying event) to which they otherwise might not want to come.
