VTB CUP 2017

Next week, 12-16 October 2017, Tbilisi for the second time will held the International tournament in Artistic gymnastics ‘’VTB CUP 2017’’. Tournament will take place at the New Gymnastics Venue in Didi Digomi district (near to the US Embassy—Digomi Chalebi). The General Sponsor of the tournament is the “VTB Bank”.

Last year at the tournament participated 4 countries, this year will participate 7 countries.

The tournament will start on 14 October at 11:00 am, and the Opening ceremony 14:30 pm.

Next day will be the Apparatus finals.

Also, at the same time will be held Georgian national Championships in Artistic gymnastics.

The championships will start on 13 October at 14:45 pm, and the finals on 15 October.

Attendance on both tournaments is free.

Therefore we are welcome all sports’ fans.

Anano and Mariam: silver/Tekla and Nino: bronze

Yesterday, in the city of Birmingham (Great Britain), started the WAGC @1st Junior World Championship. The championsip is held in individual and synchronized disciplines. Anano Apakidze and Mariam Ragimovi passed the qualifying stage in their category, synchronized jumping, and reached the final with the fourth place. In the final, Anano and Mariam won silver medals in a tense battle!
