United Georgian Gymnastics Federation on 9TH May had celebrated 25TH anniversary. Anniversary had started at the ‘’VTB Arena’’ were had been invited : Mr. Tariel Khechikashvili—Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia, Mr. Leri Khabelov—President of Georgian National Olympic Committee , Mr. Emzar Zenaishvili—Secretary General of Georgian National Olympic Committee, Mrs. Nino Salukvadze—Vice President of Georgian National Olympic Committee , Mr. Mamuka Khabareli—Vice President of Georgian National Olympic Committee. Also, were presented the authorities of the VTB Arena and the veteran gymnasts of Georgia.
President of the UGGF had addressed to the audience with the welcome speech after which had taken place the gala presentation of all four gymnastics disciplines.
After, the gala, the members of the Federation and veterans went to the cemeteries and laid the wreaths at the graves of the first president of the Federation Mr. Omar Gongadze, and Mrs. Medea Jugeli who was the first Olympic champion of Georgia, and Mr. Giorgi Rckhiladze and Giorgi Egnatashvili who were the Gymnastics founders in Georgia.
In the evening, the UGGF held a solemn dinner for veterans and guests.
