Last week, city of Botevgrad (Bulgaria) held an International tournament in Acrobatic gymnastics “Acro Cup’’. At the tournament participated teams from : Bulgaria, England, Moldova, Greek and Georgia.
Our acrobats had done a very good job in the qualification and also in the finals.
Here are some results:
In Men’s Pair (11-16) the 1ST place : Giorgi Tchigladze and Beka Didberidze (Coaches: R.Buziashvili, D.Pheikrishvili).
In Men’s Group (12-18) the 1ST place: Giorgi Okropiridze, Giorgi Chanadiri, Giorgi Khmaladze and Saba Maridashvili. (Coaches: S.Pheikrishvili, V. Lebedeva, T. Tskhvariashvili).
In Women’s Trio (Youth) the 2ND place: Mariam Mgebrishvili, Nino Baidauri and Lizi Omiadze ( Coaches: M.Gigolashvili, N. Berianidze).
In Women’s Pair (11-16) the 2ND place: Mariam Tcukhishvili and Mariam Ikoshvili (Coach: G. Shariashvili).
Our acrobats, got more medals in the individual exercises, and more importantly, they won the team competition. Team competition results: 1.Georgia, 2. Bulgaria, 3. England.
