Anano and Mariam: silver/Tekla and Nino: bronze

Yesterday, in the city of Birmingham (Great Britain), started the WAGC @1st Junior World Championship. The championsip is held in individual and synchronized disciplines. Anano Apakidze and Mariam Ragimovi passed the qualifying stage in their category, synchronized jumping, and reached the final with the fourth place. In the final, Anano and Mariam won silver medals in a tense battle!

Also in synchronized jumping, Nino Usubian and Tekla Chachava, in their first World Championship, passed the qualifying stage very well and reached the final with the second place. Tekla and Nino also performed well in the finals and won bronze medals!

Bronze medal from Baku-Qatar World cups

Last two weeks, were held two World Cup tournaments in Artistic gymnastics. One of the was in Baku (AZE) from 15 to 18 March, and the other was in Doha (QAT).

At the both cups had participated the members of the Georgian national team of Artistic gymnastics, who are preparing for the European Championships which will be held in Glasgow (UK).
